Les artistes présents sur ce disque sont tous des «porteurs de paix».
Certains ont été ou sont encore directement confrontés à des situations tragiques ou conflictuelles. D’autres, parce que le message de réconciliation et de communion entre les hommes et les religions de Jean-Paul II les a accompagné dans leurs existences et dans leur foi, se sont également associés à cet hommage musical.
Juifs, chrétiens, musulmans, ils interprètent ici des œuvres issues des répertoires classique, liturgique ou traditionnel.

The artists on this CD are all "peace makers".
Some of them have been, or are still, directly concerned with conflicts and tragic situations: The Trebevic Choir of Sarajevo, the Jerusalem Oratorio Chamber Choir, the Taybeh Children’s Choir, Reverend Goussan Aljanian, the Choir of monks and nuns of the Benedictine Abbey of Abu-Gosh or Sister Rabia Motran. Through music, sometimes risking their lives, they decided to face hatred and the absurdity of war. Others, such as the Greek Byzantine Choir, the Polish miners’ Choir of Douai and the Corsican group «Tavagna», because John Paul II’s message of reconciliation and communion between men and religions accompanies them in their lives and their faith, also associate themselves with this homage and testimony of hope for a fraternal and peaceful world.
