First recording of the historic organs of Malta.

This music voyage will lead the listener from St. John's Co-Cathedral in Valletta to the St. Paul’s Cathedral in Mdina, through a European repertoire from the 16th to the 18th century. The richness of the organ of the Oratory (1579), true guardian of the Caravaggio paintings, is here at the service of the Spanish and Italian music. The organ (1774) of St. Paul’s Cathedral of Mdina will take the listener from sunny 18th century Italy to the fogs of English shores. On the other end, the Grand Organ of St. John's Co-Cathedral will end this voyage of the organ with French music, before paying homage to the grandfather of organists and of all the musicians, Johann-Sebastian Bach.

  • Historic Organ of the Oratory of St. John's Co-Cathedral, Valletta
  • Historic Organ of St. Paul’s Metropolitan Cathedral, Mdina
  • Great Organ of St. John's Co-Cathedral, Valletta
