1967 : Began his career as a musician in France. First single with CBS.

1969 : Decided to emigrate to the USA. Settled in Woodstock.

1971 : Albert Grossmann (manager of Bob Dylan, Peter, Paul & Mary, Janis Joplin…) offered him a contract as a musician at the heart of his company, “Bearsville Records”. Solo album, « Mister Frog », created with some of the greatest musicians of the time : Rick Danko and Garth Hudson (musicians with Bob Dylan), John Simon, Todd Rundgren, Paul Butterfield...

Sound Engineer and Producer, he participated in the conception of the first quadraphonic recording studio for Bearsville Records at Woodstock where in 1973 together with John Holbrook he recorded for Warner Brothers the first quadraphonic disc (discreet quad, the true origin of the « Home Cinema ») as well as creating the first orchestral synthesiser « interface ». He then got together with Todd Rundgren and became the « synthesiser » of the group UTOPIA. For those in the know, he is considered a legend of American rock and one of the pioneers of electro-acoustic music. The group UTOPIA was one of the first to use quadraphony for their concerts, as well as appearing at Carnegie Hall (New York city).

Having left the group UTOPIA he consecrated himself to musical composition. A series of solo albums followed (for the record companies Barclay, RCA, CBS and Polygram), which included some of the great names of the period like Billy Mundy (musician with Frank Zappa), Richard Bell (musician with Janis Joplin), Steve Hillage, Darius Brubeck, Garry Windo (saxophonist with Pink Floyd), Dede Washburn and Anne Lang (singers with Joe Cocker), Maruga (from the group Weather Report)...
First electronic music « Broadway show » : « The Poison Tree », Oscar-nominated.
Film score (for the painter Peter Max): « Futur Zap ».

1977 : Following a crazy bet, he left for Uganda to record Idi Amin Dada on the accordion. Was arrested and then condemned for supposed spying. Incarcerated at the Nakasero concentration camp. There he lost the use of his left hand, which ended his career as a musician.

1980 : Left Woodstock for New York, where he pursued a career as a musical producer.

At the beginning of the 80s : together with John Holbrook perfected the recording system « TTL » (True To Life) now known as « HDRS » (High Definition Recording System), one of the first portable digital recording systems, with which he returned to France to commit himself to his « first love», the production and recording of organ music : an anthology of organ music at the heart of the collections “Organa Viventia “ and “Organa Via” (SONY, BMG). Numerous distinctions (Choc de la musique, Diapason d’or, 10 de Répertoire…). Also worked as Producer for the DEUTSCH HARMONIA MUNDI.

From 1992 to 1997: he was named as Exclusive Producer of the « Sacred Music» at Notre-Dame de Paris. There he recorded a series of albums of the Cathedral choir and organ.

1993/1994/1995, Bosnian war. Left for Sarajevo to record the “Trebevic” choir, composed of Serbs, Croats, and Bosnians (“Les Voix de l’oubli” - Sony). Organised the escape of choir members through a tunnel under Sarajevo airport for a series of 37 concerts (from Notre-Dame de Paris to the Vatican, where they were received by Pope Jean-Paul II).

1997 : Series of recordings in Azerbaijan, bringing together French, American and Azerbaijani artists.

2002 : Recorded the organ of Notre-Dame d’Afrique, in Algiers. Four discs to support the ecumenical witness of the White Fathers in Algeria. Inaugural concert of the organ of the basilica.

May 2003 : In Israel and in The Palestinian Territories recorded the disc « D’une seule voix » (Ad Vitam records - Siloë Music Prize 2004). A hundred Israeli and Palestinian musicians participated. Became the Producer and Sound Engineer for the label Ad Vitam Records (HARMONIA MUNDI).

November 2004 : Organised the « D’une seule voix », the first concert of its kind in Jerusalem, uniting 120 Israeli and Palestinian artists, in the presence of the French minister ‘de la Culture et de la Communication’.

Mai 2006 : Organised the « D’une seule voix » tour in France : 14 concerts bringing together the « D’une seule voix » artists for the first time. An immense success.

Mai 2007: Obtained two « Orphées d'Or » from the ‘Académie du disque lyrique’ presented at the ‘Opéra National de Paris Bastille’: Prix de l’Académie des Beaux-Arts / Charles Münch (Most Prestigious European Lyric award) for the Jerusalem Oratorio Chamber Choir recording, “The seventh gate”. Prix Michel Garcin (Best Recording Initiative award) for “D'une seule voix”.
