Profanes ou sacrées, ce disque réunit quelques unes des plus belles voix de chacune des trois grandes religions monothéistes concernées par le conflit israélo-palestinien. Ils sont Juifs ou arabes israéliens, musulmans ou chrétiens palestiniens, chrétiens latins, grecs melkites ou arméniens. En solistes ou en groupes, ils chantent la même terre, la même ville - Jérusalem - le même désir de vivre en paix. Ils ont choisi “dans leur coeur” les pièces les plus représentatives de leurs expressions musicales respectives pour porter “d’une seule voix” ce message de respect, de dignité et d’espérance. Hébreu, arabe, latin, grec, arménien... : répertoires, résonances et langues se mêlent et s’interpellent, en un exceptionnel voyage musical et témoignage humain.
Novembre 2004 : 1er concert «D’une seule voix» à Jérusalem.
Mai 2006 : tournée «D’une seule voix» en France (artistes en provenance d’Israël, de Cisjordanie et de la Bande de Gaza).
Février 2009 : six semaines après les bombardements Israéliens à Gaza, concert «D’une seule voix» à Malte.
Octobre 2009 : concert à Chypre.
Novembre 2009 : sortie du film «D’une seule voix» et du CD «D’une seule voix, les musiques du film».
Enregistrement réalisé en HDRS par Jean-Yves Labat de Rossi en mai 2003, en Israël et dans les Territoires palestiniens.
The CD «D’une seule voix» (With One Voice) brings together some of the most beautiful voices of each of the major monotheist religion. All the artists who have accepted to participate in this recording live in either Israel or Palestine. They are Jews, Israeli Arabs, Palestinian Moslems and Christians, Roman Catholics, Greek Melkites or Armenians. As soloists or in groups, they are singing about the same land, the same city - Jerusalem - and the same desire to live in peace. Even without a common repertoire, they chose «within their hearts» the pieces most characteristic of their respective musical traditions – profane or sacred - in order to bring forth this message of respect, dignity and hope «with one voice».
«D’une seule voix» has been honoured in France by the "Siloë Music Prize 2004" and, in 2007, by the French Académie du Disque Lyrique.
Recorded in HDRS by Jean-Yves Labat de Rossi in May 2003, in Israel and Palestinians territories
